Many thanks to everyone who took part. Thousands of people came to Parliament Street and enjoyed a weekend in Cabbagetown. Our vendors had a good experience. Our entertainers were enthusiastically received by the crowds. Our patios and restaurants enjoyed record-breaking sales.

2011 Information for Festival Vendors

Welcome to the 2011 Cabbagetown Festival

Thanks for your interest in becoming a street vendor during our event. Here's some basic information for you:

1) When is it? Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11. From 11:00 am to 8:30 pm each day.

2) Where is it? Parliament Street from Wellesley south to Gerrard in Toronto's east end.

3) Who is a vendor? We welcome both non-profit groups and private vendors. People sell everything from jewellry to soap to clothing and lots more. Non-profit groups take advantage of the crowds to spread their messages with brochures and conversations right on the street. Sorry, no food vendors.

4) What do I get? We reserve a ten foot by ten foot space for you along the Festival route. You bring your own chairs, tables, tents and other furnishings.

5) How much does it cost? For private vendors, our fee is $250. For non-profit groups, we charge $150. We also have a special one-day only fee for $125 (private) or $75 (non-profit.)

6) How do I get a space? Please contact Doug: email doug@oldcabbagetown.com or call (416) 921-0857 in order to get the application form and to find out the proper procedures. We're accepting applications now and we'll fill our spaces on a first-come, first-served basis. Please send in your form and fee immediately.
